First Timers

A warm welcome from the Burgess Hill Runners Welcome Team.

Well done on making that first step.  We will take you through what you can expect when you arrive for your first session. However, before you arrive it would save time if you fill out our online disclaimer form. It is essential that this is completed before your first club run and will speed up the registration process on your first visit.

Make your way to the main entrance of Burgess Hill Girls School, where one of our Welcome Team will be at the door to greet you. (You will recognise us by our Welcome badges)

If your first session is either a 18:45 or 19:00 group, please arrive at 18:30 as this will enable us to spend time with you and answer any questions before the coaching sessions begin.

If your first session is a 19:30 group, please make yourself known to one of our coaches who will be available in the School Gym.

From there we will take you down into the hall to complete our register, find the group you will be running with and introduce you to the coach.

Please wear appropriate footwear and light/high visibility clothing. Bring any necessary medication you need, some water and a warm top for afterwards.

Once the session has finished, we return to the school to complete stretching and cool down.

Remember you get four free taster sessions.
